Ipoh Food Hunting : Greentown Dimsum Cafe

Though I am not in Ipoh anymore, it doesn't mean I couldn't do food hunting anymore. I can drive back to Ipoh from Kedah , 272km away just for food okay. Nope, I'm joking. I never drove more than 30 km from my house in Kedah. Well, I went to Dimsum cafe while I was studying at UniKl RCMP in last fasting month 2015. It was fully occupied during that time, luckily we managed to get one table for 3 of us, me , ahsha and bang Sham. Abam utc.
These were what I have ordered.
I love their Dim Sum very much! sadly not their tomyam.

Gamba makanan tak ambik sebab lapar sangat , akibatnya, lambat sikit nak cerita pasal cafe ni ;')
Anyway, saja pergi makan dekat sini dengan groupmate yang sangat ohsem. Walaupun group yang kecil tapi kitorang very cooperative and happy being together. Masing-masing amek berat satu sama lain. Everyday was such a happy days. Very positive back then. Surround yourself with a happy people then you'll get infected by their positive vibes or you own positive aura came out by its own.
Really miss it since until now a few attempts to save it seemed had failed.
Back to food review, the serving was quite good. I haven't found my favourite food yet since this was my second time being here. Prices are standard , not too expensive, not very cheap.

Ipoh Food Hunting : Konda Kondi Cafe

I hope you can see Konda Kondi sign across the road over there. The tree was expectedly photo bomb my picture ;') This cafe is located right at the center of the city of Ipoh. It is right in front of SOS disco club (ehem) and the road here is one way, so you need to come from TM center direction or ETS (big landmark). Hope Ipoh citizen can imagine it if you interested to go..

The specky one, her name is Azliza. Yeah I know. Can you see the tag in front of her? We went here during Ramadhan so we have to book early or else if you go redhanded, this cafe will be fully book. and for this day, my friend Azliza helped us to book.That's why her name on it. Gomawo pretty.

Ipoh Food Hunting : Sakae Sushi

I know that this restaurant not only available at Ipoh , but since it has here in the city of Ipoh so why not to share it with you . I have ate here 4 times already and it is my fav compared to sushi king coz it has something else other than sushi to order . Don't hate me but I like both actually , but in my personal opinion , I think Sakae sushi has a variable choices and it is cheaper. You can order rice here instead of sushi , or maybe order BOTH ! just like what I did ;')
My usual choice of drink is Chocolate since it costed RM8 compared to carbonated drink which costs RM5., so yeah..
All of us ordered the same thing . can you see that ? how affectionate we were to this menu.
The rice is a sushi rice I guess , so you would feel full easily .
Cheese teriyaki details : It is a steamed chicken with thick cheese and spicy flavour on top. It is quite salty which is great to combine with the rice. Eat it with the soup and the veges, then it will gives you a perfect taste!

Ipoh Food Hunting : Zie Tomyam

There you go . Another restaurant today . Restaurant . not a cafe . (if that makes any different hehe)
This was an IFTAR with IM4U buddies. Well, IM4U is a NGO sort of community. There are a lot of people from different background attended this iftar and from all ages as well. This was great coz we got to meet new people and be friend with them. I love to see other people behaviour especially for those who are really easy going, it's so fun and it inspires me in some aspects.
This is the look of the restaurant from the outside. It is just nice with the lamp and the plant all that. Well, we sat outside coz it is already full inside. I can't really wait to eat their tomyam !!
Look ! watermelon juice was just so tempting and delly ! Broke the fast with healthy drinks~ Love it !
Unfortunately , coz we are the late comers, so we only got nasi goreng and some other dishes like a small bowl of tomyam, a plate of daging masak merah and a plate of sotong goreng tepung.. instead of others who came early got a big bowl of tomyam, a big and long sweet sour fish n etc. But I was just too grateful to have free meal today. Our dishes were just nice but personally I am not really into it. However , thumbs up for the ;.)

Ipoh Food Hunting : Scenic Cafe Garden

Assalamualaikum .. Fresh story today ! Just ate this super yum seafood carbonara at Scenic Cafe Garden. As probably can tell by the title , this cafe is located at Ipoh.. and if you are ipoh citizen interested to try this , it is near by Petronas Taman Polo at the intersection to be exact. First impression, the outdoor landscape of this cafe is so cool ! it looks luxury yet super calm. We did eat in peace inside there. The food delivery was so fast and customer service 5 stars. It also may be due to we are the only customer there plus 2-3 more tables were being served. Very a few of people which is great if you don't like hectic cafe.
These are the interior designs , i think they want to make it like an old kind of chienese style, though it is a wooden furniture but it so cozy. Hygiene is great and suprisingly this cafe is air conditioning , and it is so cold! *my friend even shaking . it was not like some other cafe that have air cond but still feeling a bit hot.

Oh ya , not to forget about the food ..
I ate Saefood carbonara , It was great ! Love it but it was too much to me so I took away my food. All my other friends also like their dinner but there were some complains like the chicken was too small , and etc. But most of us was happy with food .

My carbonara is RM26 each .
Mineral water RM3
Quite expensive isn't it ? But it is worth trying if you are food/cafe hunter like us ;)

Kawan aku la yang ajak makan espresso lab ni .. sebelum ni ragu ragu sama ada halal atau tak makanan kat sini , sebab ada orang cakap ada alcohol . then kawan aku cakap, halal je , ada certificate and ada kawan-kawan dia pakat makan kat sini sebelum ni dan dorang sangat recommend. sebab tu la dia beria-ria sangat nak pergi . emmm , aku macam malas je nak makan kat sini sebab tengah jimat duit. sebab kawan aku ni siap tarik-tarik beg aku macam budak-budak nak makan kat sini , aku pun follow je lah . tapi dengan syarat kena belanja~~ haha!! and he said yes! so JOM MAKAN !!
Sampai ja kat espresso lab ni, Perut aku ada la lapar sikit, dan aku mencari makanan yang berat sikit untuk diisi. Rupa-rupanya dekat espresso lab sini cuma ada roti, donut, dan kek sahaja. tapi variety flavour lah. Sebabkan orang nak belanja, so aku cari makanan murah-murah je.
Kek nampak sedap, tapi yang kitorang nak tu, waiter tu mention ada alcohol, fuh . thanks god for mentioning .. Harga kek dia lebih mahal dari kek secret recipe. I guess because of the alcohol??
ok, so aku try croissant dia ja.. tu macam dalam gambar kat atas tu dan ada satu jenis lagi, tapi aku tak sempat nak ambil gambar.. roti berlari masuk dalam perut cepat sangat. Lapo kot ! tadi lapar sikit ja , lepas tunggu dia potong semua jadi betul betul lapar.
Aku ambil croissant inti sosej dan inti chocolate
Verdict : dua dua roti yang aku ambil tu sedap ja. tapi aku dalam prefer yang inti sosej. sedap rasa lagi best, ada manis masin dia tu. Coklet pun ok .. tapi kalau lagi banyak melting coklat dalam roti tu mesti lagi sedap .. roti dia rapuh dan ada rasa susu serbuk sikit sikit.
Overal rate : 3.5 , but still kalau boleh nak lagi.
Harga roti : RM6 each
We also ordered chocholate drink.. Sedap !! Tapi mahal . RM16 . kira high standard drink la kot. Never repurchase sebab price tuuu. tunggu la kaya sikit kot.
tak sangka roti x 3 plus chocolate drink x 2 would cost RM50. But anyways, pasni aku kena belanja dia plak . heheee

I've been food hunting with my fellow friends for quite sometimes. I really want to take those restaurant pictures, the food and all stuffs like that but I literally failed!
I felt regret not to blog about food hunting coz I really want to share with you best places to eat in Ipoh and make those stomach full with yummy mumy food and beverages.but i don't take pictures, so no blog updates.
Sometimes I will be like," okay, today I am going to take the pictures of the food and posted it in blog, but When I arrived at the restaurant,I am completely forgot and jump into eating it until it's over, then I realized I haven't took a picture yet" bye bye restaurant, I will be here again if the food was delicious .
But yesterday, i did it!!!

Hai & Assalamualaikum ..
Sekarang ni tengah module SSM , the most waited module ever . memang santai sangat .
Hati ni tak tahu nak bagitahu betapa suka nya sebab boleh bangun lewat , tidur lewat, buang masa, hahaha (gelak jahat)
Emm , Somehow, ramai je colleague yang target time SSM ni nak ulangkaji untuk final bulan 4 tahun depan.
Emm, tengoklah dulu .
Mula-mula mesti kena settlekan semua list yang sedang menunggu setelah sekian lama.
Antaranya mestilah update blog sekerap yang mungkin. ;)
Entry ni khas nak cerita One Day out with My BFF last weekend.

The one who I've friend with, about 4 years plus plus and still counting.
I planned to go to KL that weekend , dan pada mula ingatkan nak buat suprise ,
tak bagitahu yang akan ke kolej dia , kononnya , bila dah terpacak depan kolej Ain barulah nak call, suruh turun ke bawah dan Bingo! I'm HERE !
tapi nasib baik lah housemate aku ada bagitahu yang IPTA tengah cuti midsem sekarang . lau tak sadisnya suprise aku , kita dok KL, dia dok Kedah. tak ke suprise diri sendiri balik?
But at last , kebetulan tiket bas Ain hari Ahad dah habis , so dia beli hari sabtu . memang kena la. Malam sabtu tu aku tidur kat UM with her dan keesokan harinya kitorang keluar !
Here we go , Mid Valley Land.
Sepanjang perjalanan , memanjang ja selfie.
Harapannya , memori selepas dua tahun tak jumpa , terjaga ;,) .

Tapi makanan aku , aku ingat la. Aku makan Spicy Chicken Ramyeon.
Lepas tu kan , kitorang order side dish ,.perghhh ! Cheese melting-melting dekat lidah! Sedap!
Ain la yang suggest benda ni. Kalau pergi lagi Dubu-dubu ni , memang tak kan lepas makan Topukki Cheese( RiceCake) !
Kitorang makan rushing sikit , bukan kitorang , tapi aku , sebab aku asyik berceritaaaaaa ja time makan, tengok-tengok jam dah pukul 1.40 (tiket wayang)
By the way , lunch dekat Dubu-dubu ni Ain yang belanja . katanya bukannya selalu.

Kawan aku si Ain ni , hard core Korea sikit, Drama ka, movie ka, lagu ka, makanan ka semua dia bantai. Oleh itu terjebaklah aku sekali masuk dalam dubu-dubu ni. hehe.
Sebenarnya aku pun suka , suka la jugak . tapi tak ada la die hard .
Sikit-sikit tu boleh la. Layan drama yang femes-femes, running man , we got married ( ha ni semua aku suka ) . Lagu korea pun aku layan sebab si Ain ni suka send lagu melalui whatsapp.
Kira kitorang suka kongsi tukar-tukar kesukaan.sweet kan? hehe
Ain la penggeraknya , lau ikutkan aku , memang hampeh la.
aku ni jenis yang 24 hour phone tak ada kat tangan pun santai sahaja.
Antara sebab aku nak makan ala-ala korea sikit hari tu sebab aku teringat kenangan masa dulu first aku makan ramen kat food court Mid Valley. dengan Ain jugak. memang sedap gila plus mahal gila. Sesak nafas time tu sebab elaun mana masuk lagi.
