Bourjois Happy Light Foundation Review
December 9, 2016
I bought this a couple of months ago because people are raving about Bourjois foundation especially the Healthy Mix Bourjois Foundation but unfortunately, I cannot find the one with a red cap so I grabbed this one with the hope that they are almost the same with same quality. Are they really same? Let's look into it.

The Happy Light foundation gives a luminous and flawless complexion in any light. Its translucent pigments correct without masking giving your complexion a flawless radiance. Its supple texture glides smoothly onto the skin for a flawless complexion with no caking. Result: complexion is left luminous and flawless for 16 hours in any light with an ultra-natural finish. Dermatologically tested.

The foundation comes in a light plastic bottle with a coral colored pump. The pump is very striking so it is easy for me to differentiate this foundation at an instance. As usual, I like a foundation with a pump dispenser as I can really avoid an unnecessary mess while using it, especially in hurry. It comes in perfect tall and slim size bottle. Hence, much convenient for me to bring it anywhere.
HOW TO : Dispense two pumps (depend on how much coverage you want) of the foundation onto your hand. Apply the foundation after your skincare routines like toning and moisturizing, then apply the foundation evenly onto the face using face brush or beauty sponge. Apply the foundation in a circular motion for best and flawless result.

The coverage is light to medium but I believe I can build the coverage if I want to. I like the fact that the foundation does not look too heavy on the skin. It is light and feels nothing at all So far, this is my most close shade of foundation that I have ever own. It is in Beige Clair and my skin color is a bit yellowish undertone, Malaysian refers it as 'kuning langsat' . The texture is smooth, blends perfectly to give a silky finish with a radiant effect. not too matte that would crack and not too dewy that I don't have to powder after wearing it. However, I think this foundation does not last as long as it claims, only for a few hours as I wear it to classes and my friend said that I go bare face today ?
It also does not leave any drag marks or streaks on facial lines which I really love .

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer Review
November 26, 2016
Makeup begins with a perfect canvas, and it should stays from the hassle of the day. We can maintain the makeup on the right place without noticing our foundation has melt away, our blusher has fade down of our cheek simply by applying a good primer. This is my first time using a primer, check out my opinion.
Photoready Perfecting Primer claims to soften skin, reduce the appearance of pores and fine lines, smooth skin texture, and tone.
The strong features include photochromatic pigments bend, reflect, and diffuse light to minimize flaws , reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines and even out skin’s texture.
It comes in the same size of Photoready AirBrush Effect Foundation. Check out the review here. Short but wide with a strong and sturdy glass bottle. It has a pump too that will help to give a right amount of product and also for it to come out quite come out easily. It feels nice on my palm but I cannot really fit this in my travel makeup bag.
HOW TO : After toning and moisturize your face, apply two pumps of the products evenly onto your face. Only a thin layer is needed to even out your skin and erase the redness away. 27ml of the product meant to last for a month.
I am not a big fan of a primer. I have one Porefessional Primer from Benefits. I bought it because of the hype but never really have used it yet because it is too expensive for a small product amount so I was being stingy there.
However, I managed to grab this from Revlon called as Photo Ready Perfecting Primer solely because the sale girl there conveyed me that by applying primer it will make my makeup last a lot longer, and my T-zone area would be less oily. Plus I want to get a free makeup box with a certain amount purchase so I just need to add up a few more bits of Revlon products.
Luckily, I am not dissappointed at all with this primer because it does even out my complexion, reduce the redness and give me smooth&clean skin. It does leave a bit of white clump but it is not a problem at all because we can all always wipe it all the way. The best part is it does not sink in the pores and not causing any break outs.

Revlon Photoready AirBrush Effect Foundation Review
November 25, 2016
I am back with the beauty reviews. I miss doing this so much. I have collected and tried out a bunch of makeup in this year, so I thought I would share my experience with you guys here. I'll try to make it as honest and original as I could. Enjoy reading them on my blog.

Revolutionary formula with Light-Filtering Technology delivers a poreless, airbrushed look. Soft-focus pigments create a luminous finish. your skin has never looked so flawless. There are 12 high-resolution shades of this new foundation starting from the fairest to the darkest; Ivory, Vanilla, Shell, Nude, Natural Beige, Medium Beige, Cool Beige, Golden Beige, Rich Ginger , Caramel, Cappuccino and Mocha. It has SPF 20 and claimed to give medium to high coverage.

It comes in a palm size big and a strong glass bottle containing 30ml of products. It is short but wide so sometimes I have a problem with fitting them into my makeup bag. Personally, I prefer the longer bottle than a wider bottle. However, if I bring less makeup, then this foundation won't have any problem going into them. Plus, it has a convenient pump to allow the product comes out quite easily without creating a mess.
HOW TO : Apply moisturizer and primer first to create an ultimate base. Use your finger/brush/sponge to apply the product evenly on your face.

I have mine in Shell which is quite fair and I was always so bad choosing foundation shade for my skin. So I ended up looking too white with this foundation. I have to mix with darker foundation to obtain the perfect shade for my skin. I like this foundation so far because it gives a good coverage. However , I didn't quite like the shimmery effects that it is quite obvious on my face.
Last 2 weeks, one of my friends said that I look like an old lady once. I ask him why, and he said that my foundation crack. It is either I forgot to wear moisturizer on that day or this foundation is a bit drying so make sure to moisturize your face first before applying it.

Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart Review
August 16, 2016
Hye ! I'm back with make up reviews! Missing this so much , but I really want to do so much because I want to add a little bit more contents in my blog. So let's start with the first one, a blusher from Makeup Revolution known as Triple Baked Blusher Blushing Heart.
Makeup Revolution has three series of the same triple baked thingy which are Summer of Love ( a bronzer ) , Golden Goddess ( a highlighter) and the one that I'm reviewing now is Blushing heart. Now it's getting a little bit more complicated because Blushing Heart has three more different shades of blusher, which are Candy Queen of heart, Peachy Queen of heart and the Blushing Heart where you can find the name at the back of the box.
As you can see, this Blushing heart is made of three cool pink shades. It comprised of a hot pink, warm dolly pink and a slight purplish pink shade on the top that made the blending become super amazing and beautiful.
It has a little bit of shimmer and definitely will give you more of a glowy, metallic finish and a little sparkle that disperses well on the face.
♥Pigmentation
I love this the instant I swatched it over my hand because it is so pigmented and great colors come out quite easily. It also feel really soft and quite buttery. I feel like I was purchasing the high end blusher.
♥Duration
It is such a long wearing blusher. In fact it lasted me all day unless you wash it off. The blusher stays in place and does not smearing over your face.
♥Packaging
I have seen this love blusher packaging so long ago, they are so beautiful . Though it is a little plain from the Too Faced Sweetheart Blusher (Blushing Heart is a dupe for this. RM39) while Too Faced costs about RM215, but this one is just nice for me !
This is my favourite blusher so far ! If you like shimmering blusher , this is the good one, unless you love more matte blusher then you might consider other blusher but adding this blusher into your collection won't be a regret :)
Review : Peel Off Nail Polish
July 10, 2015
Assalamualaikum . Girls love beautiful and stunning nails right? So here it is , a nail polish to add a bit more enhancement to our nails. I love seeing cute decorative nails but because I know we as a muslim cannot wear it or else our prayers will not valid so I kind of turn off my interest to try wearing it. For me , SEE only. But , technology has gone way too good. You don't need a nail remover to remove your nail polish anymore , and you do not necessarily need to wear that nail polish for a long period anymore, everything you need to do is just peel off whenever&whereever you feel to. My goshhh . This is incredible!
I got this nail polish in lilac for RM8.
Oh i need help ;)
Complete ! It turns pretty good huh?
The consistency is just good. It is thick and shiny. Easily dry and peeled, so beware.
[After a few hours] This is how you can peel off the nail polish.
You can tear it from any edges that you like. I played with water so much, that's why it become like that. Looks digusting isn't it.
The waste ;) sorry to show this. Just to let you know that it did come out easily when you want to peel it. and it was fun though. So no worries.Overall , i just love to wear this nail polish especially during that 'day'. It looks fancy and girly (you know my thing ;)) Plus, i plan to buy more colours after this but maybe a darker colour so I look for fierce and rock. haha.

♡ Nano White CC Infinity Cream Review
June 12, 2015

Hi everyone ! I'm back with another review. I'm going to review a CC cream from Korean today. I am so excited ! I received this CC cream a few months ago. I totally forget that I have this in my vanity box. Once I found out, I decided to give a try . I am not a type of person who stick to one foundation for everyday use. Yes , I mixed it up. It going to be different depend on my mood. Thanks god , not any single foundation I have use gives me break out. I like a foundation/bb/cc cream that does not gives a patchy look through out the day .
Since this is my first time trying a CC cream , what is CC cream exactly ?
CC cream is a color control/color correcting cream. It claims to reduce redness and improve uneven skin tone. What i know, basically CC cream is an improve version of BB cream , being boosted up with more ingredients and benefits to it. . Basically , they are just almost the same ;)
Now let me share with you, my thought about this Nano White CC cream. This CC cream was sponsored by Bag of Love. I received it together with their bag of the month back in December . Here's the link : Bag of Love

First impression
This CC cream looks very exclusive . I like the packaging. It looks professional and feel great while holding it. I don't know, but to me it is really convenient to hold. The rubber packing is so soft and easy to squeeze. It has a metallic grey cap at the bottom and can rigidly stand on my vanity table. Love the cap because it reflects the light! super nice. I don't really have a foundation that has this kind of metallic cap. Anyway, I do sometimes feel that the design is just a simple wordie on it and plain . In fact, there's nothing much at the back, just a direction on how to use and the amount of this CC cream.
Sorry about the lighting, it suddenly gets brighter 6_'6 |
Let's talk about the content.
I love the delicacy of the cream since it is not too thick to me. The shade of mine is natural beige and it looks a bit dark on my hand for first squeeze but after blending it the color does change slightly and matches my skin really well. I love it since it does not give a patchy look on my face.. The most stand out feature to me is the SPF level . It has SPF50 PA++ , which is really high and really good to protect my skin from the harsh sun light. For sure this will be one of my travel kits :D
All I can say is the redness is gone . But it does not hide my acne scars and dark circles.

Whitening -2/5
Only a slight change

Smell - 3/5
Just typical cc/bb cream smell. It do smells like olive oil to me.

Consistency 3/5
Just great . No glowy or dewy look.

Last but not least, a bunch of thanks to Bag of Love for letting me try this Cc cream and to you as well for reading this !
Do you have any favourite CC cream? Don't forget to share your thoughts !
Love,
Anis
