#MyTravelokaEscapade: Why I Want To Hop To London

December 25, 2016

Who is excited for London? Well, I am excited!

London is a capital city of the United Kingdom which full of countless picturesque historical building and unique sights. London is so famous that I want to be there, take loads of beautiful pictures (selfies too!) and experience the chill of the air myself. London should be on everyone bucket list I tell you.   These are My Top 5 things I want to do if I ever get the chance to go London especially when it is fully sponsored by Traveloka *hint*

1. Visit the famous sightseeing (stumbled upon Hollywood artists probably !)

I don't even know where to start because I have loads of places I want to go in London. First thing first, I'll surely visit the most popular landmark in London. Have you ever heard of London Eye, Big ben, London bridges falling down falling down? If yes, I don't think I need to explain more on why I want to be there. But if you're not sure, then I GOT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING

source

London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel located in the Central London. It also is known as Cola Cola London Eye. London Eye is the TALLEST Ferris wheel in the Europe and it offers the highest public viewing point in London. So this is the must visit place if I go to the London as I could take a quick look at the magnificent building structures. And I also have heard, this London eye has a great view during sunset or night.

Big Ben! I'm pretty sure as if only if you never heard of it, you have seen it at least once on the Internet or English movies. It is the biggest, most accurate, four-faced clock in the world!

Palace of Westminster, on the other hand, is the heart of British politics. It is also known as the Houses of Parliament. Though I am not really into the politics but I got a little bit anxious to see where better people work to make the country succeed and flourish.
Take a walk at Nottinghill just because I might stumble upon great celebrities at London.

psssssttt May I know who is a PotterHead here? If you love Harry Potter that much,  we could take The Harry Potter Tour together and immediately become a best friend because we got a lot to talk about. I know this place would be on PotterHead's top list and I cannot miss that.

2. Immense in the unique history!
Loving the art and history? London is a plus plus peRFECTTT place to visit for. The history of London is so long and dramatic. I've got to be the London citizen to explore all the museums in London because London has more than 100 museums to select and explore. The best part of all,  is that most of the museum entry is fee-free and we definitely can enjoy it to bits because everything free is lovely.

I also want to terrify myself at the London Dungeons, a museum of horror, as well as visiting the Madame Tussaud because it is full of wax figures from famous people of different background. For example? Zoella and One Direction!

3. Explore the unexpected bits ðŸ’•
To add more feeling to my trip, I honestly want to watch the changing guard at Buckingham live and see the Queen by any chance.

I also want to pick the double decker bus. The bus will make us easy to move around.
You know what, red telephone box always gets me excited when I saw it around and I always hope that one day I get into the box by myself, make a real phone calls using the real red public phone. I know how cliche is that may sounds, but it is quite an exciting experience that I want to share with my friends or even my grandchildren when I gets older.  See , " travelling leaves you speechless, but then it turns you into a storyteller".

4. Watch the top class theatre play and musical
source
I may not the best fan of theatre play and musical in the world but I love the Phantom Opera so much that I actually want to discover and watch other English theatre live and share the experience with all of you. I find a lot of emotion when watching theatre and suprisingly I love it ! My favourite one is about love and romance. It pulls the string of my heart honestly. I can have dinner and watch the Royal Ballet at the same time too !

5. Shop till you drop

Whether you've got money to burn a hole in your pocket or just to nose past the stunning shops, there is no other place you can 'shop till you drop' than in London. I've watched a lot of London's vlog & haul, London definitely got everything for us to grab and be happy with it.  I've always and always want to do a shopping haul at London because I know I can find a lot of brand that is not available here in Malaysia at a very bargaining price. The one and all my must get products from London is actually from Zoella range itself. You know how much I love Zoella, I get intrigued to try all of her products because the reviews are so damn good. I wish I could grab ALL. like seriously I won't lie to you , I want to sweep all of her products ranges clean. #confessionofaShopaholic

In fact, a few of my friends are studying there at UK. That actually means I have to visit them if I won the grand prize for the contest, isn't it ?. My 2016 Vanity Tour ♡

December 23, 2016

I am so much excited for this blogpost idea and now you'll be reading it, so grab a cup of your favourite drink and enjoy! Basically, in this post, I am going to tell you a little bit details on whats on my vanity and the organization. I am not the most expert in organization so this is the best thing I can do so far.

Apparently, this is how my vanity looks like and I love it so much though I still planning to add more but I will just wait till 2017 strike to update my vanity. p/s I did actually have update some

I've been collecting makeup since 2014 as far as I can remember and during that day, I just loved to collect some of great lippies that I've been reading all over the internet. However,  my huge collections of makeup are actually from this year itself where I get a little bit of extra money and can afford to buy makeup that I dreamt of and actually want to try.

INTO THE LAYOUT
My vanity table/ makeup table is totally a DIY. I choose my study table as the main place for me to organize and do my makeup here but I had revamped this woody old desk to a more decent and nice looking desk by painted the surface to snow white color. I used wooden painter to paint it down. As for the mirror, I have to put it up a little to the left because I don't want it to cover the bathroom lamp switch and the water heater switch (which I think you've noticed it earlier). This is the only place I find it suitable as where vanity table should be because my room is quite small and this is where it gets most of the lights during the days.

I have a bouquet of died roses on my vanity table. and this is just to add a little bit girly features on my vanity. It looks 10 times better when it is still fresh and bloomy. I love the smell of the roses when I do my makeup but it has no fragrance at all.

Think Happy Vase is from Chumbak

INTO THE ORGANISATION
I get my makeup organizer from the variety of places but don't worry I'll try to put a link so that you can buy the organizer as well if you want.  I try to make most of my organizer from acrylic though in my opinion it can collect dusk way more obvious and it really bothers me if it gets streak out.

I have the 3-Tier File Drawer from hardware store nearby
On top of the file drawer I have Round Acrylic Brush holder from Muji,
Acrylic Lipstick/Nailpaint stands 9 sections  from Amazon,
and Palette stands from Home Decor.
Next to the file drawer, I have Acrylic Drawer also from Amazon . Only RM60. Quite a bargain. Also can be found at Muji at much better quality.
Desk rack to display the blusher from Muji.
The Vanity Mirror is from Home Centre
Makeup box from Maybelline . I got it free when you purchased until certain amount.

INTO THE MAKEUP
I don't have a lot of makeup but they were quite collectible than a normal person would collect.
The lipstick array and brushes are on top of the file drawer as you can see.
Moving on to the file drawer, it stores most of my makeup.

In the file drawer, I keep
First tier -  BB cream and CC cream

Second tier -  Face products

Third tier -  Mascara, eyeliner, eyelashes , eyelash curler, glue and tweezer

Another lipstick storage of the acrylic one. I like this one because it is easy to see which lipstick color that I have from different brand.

In the Maybelline beauty box , I keep my brand new makeup that I haven't open yet. These are my recent haul that I kept in the beauty box.

That's all for my vanity tour and a preview of my makeup collection. I don't have as much makeup as you could probably imagine but this is it. I like reviewing makeup because some of them are really good and worth to be inside my vanity. I also bought most of the makeup using my own money and they are actually my satisfaction as I can experiment with it.
I hope you enjoy reading this post. Have a great day !

What's In My Travel Makeup Bag?

December 16, 2016

I had traveled last month and I thought to bring the right makeup during traveling is very important as this is the only time when I can afford looking like Next Top Model and drop-dead gorgeous. My goal on every vacation was to have cool and nice pictures as a symbolic of happy moments and keep it as a memory and if I have time I want to print out all the pictures and paste it in a scrapbook. So I  have to choose a good makeup so that I don't look like a walking zombie.

This is my recent travel makeup bag. It is from West Side, a superstore in India and the reason why I bought this was simply because it was like inspired from Zoella 'Favorite Thing' Makeup bag. You can take a look of the Zoella makeup bag because it is so cute to resist.
There you go, a sneak peek of what's inside and I am really amazed at how much makeup I can fit inside the bag. This bag is really good, though. All my face products fit in here except face cleanser moisturizer and makeup remover.

My recent foundation favorite is from Revlon. It is the Photoready Airbrush Effect.  I had reviewed it here. Feel free to check it out.

After applying a full foundation on my face, I will use Hoola Bronzer from Benefits. This is also quite cool and the most important thing is it is matte since I don't really prefer too much glittery face considering the fact that I want to highlight little features of my face as well.

I'll add a good amount of coral blusher from Catrice on my cheek because these days I've been loving blushing cheek than anything.

All Round Concealer from Catrice as well is an option. If my eye bag seems too bad, I'll pick the peach concealer and conceal my under eyes. I've never touch any of the the other concealer color.

The highlight of the day is very important and mine is from Mary Lou Manizer The Balm. Gorgeous highlighter I've ever use and the quantity of the product could last like forever. I always apply this on my nose bridge, high cheek bone, brow bone and cupid bow. Sometimes a little bit on the chin. and make sure do not the highlighter too crazy or else we could end up looking like a clown.

Brows also need to stay on fleek. And my current favourites are from Benefit Browzing. I'll use this until they hit the pan since it is quite pricey and the products are actually really good.

Other pieces that I need to have in my makeup bag are HyperSharp Maybelline Eyeliner(wing is a must) Benefits Roller Lash Mascara, eyeshadow and foundation brush from BS-MALL Cosmetics. I bought these set of 10 brushes from Amazon India. A hygienic Vocemoda brush with a cap from SASA. Maybelline Pure Concealer Mineral and my all time favourite lipstick from Revlon in shade Seductive Sienna.

If you are wondering where is my eyeshadow palette, from my last travel trip, I bring the Makeup Revolution Flawless 2 and it is quite big so it cannot fit in there but the quality of the eyeshadow is fantastic.
I would say these are my make essential of 2016. I've been reaching for them a lot recently and done my make up really fast :)

Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter Review

December 13, 2016

I know the review of this product were everywhere already, but I have to share this because this is one of my favourite makeup ever.I watched first impression video and definitely need to buy this based on the reaction. Yes, youtube made me buy this.

Meet Mary-Lou Manizer, a seemingly innocent honey-hued luminizer that catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, shadow and shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow.

The packaging is so nice and flattering. It is really me. I like the vintage kind of look though it is just a sticker pasted on a sturdy rounded compact but the design wins my heart . I love the feel of this strong and sturdy compact on my hand as they always feel cold because of the metal I guess. and the mirror guys, it is not kind of cheap mirror but a very clear high-quality mirror that I always grab whenever i want to do close up makeup.

HOW TO : Apply a light stroke with a V shape start from on your cheek to the brow bone and you are good to go !

Like I said, this is my favourite highlighter and I have to add this into my makeup essential. My makeup won't look complete without a glimpse of shimmer and this is the good one that I had to apply so far. Definitely worth the money.  My skin looks radiant and healthy. Its not too glittery . A bit creamy but so pigmented. Absolute wonderful. The formula is just perfect for glowy but finished. Some bloggers said that this highlighter very similar to Becca moonstone highlighter. It doesn't accentuate your pores or texture

★★★★★5/5
Repurchase : YES. Definitely.
Where to : SASA for RM74 with 8.5g that could last forever.
Grab it during SALE , you'll get cheaper price.

Bourjois Happy Light Foundation Review

December 9, 2016

I bought this a couple of months ago because people are raving about Bourjois foundation especially the Healthy Mix Bourjois Foundation but unfortunately, I cannot find the one with a red cap so I grabbed this one with the hope that they are almost the same with same quality. Are they really same? Let's look into it.

The Happy Light foundation gives a luminous and flawless complexion in any light. Its translucent pigments correct without masking giving your complexion a flawless radiance.  Its supple texture glides smoothly onto the skin for a flawless complexion with no caking. Result: complexion is left luminous and flawless for 16 hours in any light with an ultra-natural finish. Dermatologically tested.

The foundation comes in a light plastic bottle with a coral colored pump. The pump is very striking so it is easy for me to differentiate this foundation at an instance. As usual, I like a foundation with a pump dispenser as I can really avoid an unnecessary mess while using it, especially in hurry. It comes in perfect tall and slim size bottle. Hence, much convenient for me to bring it anywhere.

HOW TO : Dispense two pumps (depend on how much coverage you want) of the foundation onto your hand. Apply the foundation after your skincare routines like toning and moisturizing, then apply the foundation evenly onto the face using face brush or beauty sponge. Apply the foundation in a circular motion for best and flawless result.

The coverage is light to medium but I believe I can build the coverage if I want to. I like the fact that the foundation does not look too heavy on the skin. It is light and feels nothing at all  So far, this is my most close shade of foundation that I have ever own. It is in Beige Clair and my skin color is a bit yellowish undertone, Malaysian refers it as 'kuning langsat' . The texture is smooth, blends perfectly to give a silky finish with a radiant effect. not too matte that would crack and not too dewy that I don't have to powder after wearing it. However, I think this foundation does not last as long as it claims, only for a few hours as I wear it to classes and my friend said that I go bare face today ?

It also does not leave any drag marks or streaks on facial lines which I really love .

★★★★✫3.7/5
Repurchase : YES IF I CANNOT FIND HEALTHY MIX SERUM FOUNDATION
Where to : Guardian & Watson, I bought mine for RM59.90
